Save the Brains is an annual Rock n Roll Fundraiser for Brain Cancer Research through the BC Cancer Foundation. It's all done in memory of Kevin Rushton, who fought a valiant battle against brain cancer. On March 3rd, 2009, with the help of four great bands and some fabulous volunteers, we raised $2000 for the BC Cancer Foundation. On April 1, 2010 we more than doubled that! That's nearly $7000 raised for the fight against brain cancer! The next Save the Brains Rock n' Roll fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, August 26, 2011 at the fabulous Biltmore Cabaret, featuring music by The Black Amps and The Stag Reels and burlesque by Ruthe Ordare, Burgundy Brixx & Camero Luvroc! There's also an amazing silent art auction & more. Hosted by Burgundy Brixx & The Purrrfessor of Kitty Nights fame, Save the Brains 2011 will be a fun night of rock n' roll & burlesque you won't soon forget!
